E-PIT Probes

E-PIT^TM Tools are designed to inspect tubes & pipes from the outside surface to detect internal (ID) & external (OD) defects. This is useful for situations where a pipe must be inspected before it is taken out of service. E-PIT^TM can inspect through coatings (e.g. Yellow Jacket^TM) of up to 0.200" (5mm) thickness.

E-PIT^TM Tool Applications:

• Detection of ID & OD defects in pipelines without need to remove coatings
• Detection of ID & OD defects in boiler water wall tubes
• Detection and sizing of ID & OD defects with equal sensitivity
